Town defender Damien Delaney and prospective loan signing Keith Andrews have been named in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their European Championship qualifiers in September.
Ireland face Slovakia at home on September 2nd and Russia away on September 6th.
The Blues are hopeful that Blackburn man Andrews will complete his move from the Lancashire club today and that he’ll make his debut against his old club Hull City on Saturday.
