Wright Back Training With Town - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that former Town keeper Richard Wright is back training with Paul Jewell’s squad at Playford Road. However, the 33-year-old appears unlikely to rejoin the club despite the Blues requiring goalkeeper cover since Márton Fülöp’s departure to West Brom.
Wright was recently on trial at Cardiff and is more likely to be offered a deal by the Bluebirds, where ex-Town keeper-coach James Hollman is now on the staff.
Ex-England man Wright is back with Town to keep himself fit, having spent time at Playford Road earlier in the summer after being released by Sheffield United at the end of 2010/11.
