Stockdale in England Squad for Qualifiers - Ipswich Town News

Town loan keeper David Stockdale has been named in the England squad for the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria in Sofia on Friday and with Wales at Wembley the following Tuesday. Stockdale, who is with the Blues from Fulham for the season, is yet to win a cap with this his fourth senior call-up.

England goalkeeping-coach Ray Clemence was at Town’s 2-1 victory over Leeds on Saturday to run the rule over Stockdale, having watched the Bristol City match on the opening day of the season.

Former Blue Darren Bent is also named in Fabio Capello's squad.
