Edwards Wins Cap - Ipswich Town News
Carlos Edwards won his 79th Trinidad and Tobago cap last night as the Soca Warriors beat Bermuda 1-0 in their opening 2014 World Cup qualifier in Port of Spain.
Edwards, playing at right-back, failed to add to his four international goals with Stoke’s Kenwyne Jones netting the winner just before the break. Former Blue Reggie Lambe, who is still without a new club, was in the Bermuda side.
Elsewhere, Jaime Peters was an unused sub as Canada beat St Lucia 4-1 in Toronto, also in a World Cup qualifier.
