Leddy Set for Cap - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Jonathan Leddy could be in action for the Republic of Ireland U17s tonight in the first of two friendlies against Serbia in Wexford. Leddy, who has previously won caps at U16 level, was amongst this summer’s intake of first-year scholars.
The games — the second is on Thursday — are warm-ups for the first phase qualifiers for the UEFA U17 Championship which will be played in Kazakhstan from October 18th-24th, where Ireland face Liechtenstein, the hosts and the Czech Republic in a qualification mini-group.
