Finidi George's Nigerians drew 2-2 with Japan at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium today. Nigeria's goals came from an own effort from Matsuda and a second half equaliser from Julius Agahowa.

Finidi's best effort was a 30-yard volley on the half hour which Japanese keeper Kawaguchi tipped round the post.
