Leddy Set to Start for Ireland - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Jonathan Leddy is set to start for the Republic of Ireland U17s when they take on Serbia in the second of their two friendlies in Wexford this afternoon.
The Irish youngsters lost the first game 2-0 on Tuesday with first-year scholar Leddy coming on as a second half substitute.
The games are warm-ups for the first phase qualifiers for the UEFA U17 Championship which will be played in Kazakhstan from October 18th-24th, where Ireland face Liechtenstein, the hosts and the Czech Republic in a qualification mini-group.
