Full-back Carlos Edwards has pulled out of Trinidad and Tobago’s World Cup qualifiers against Bermuda on Friday and Barbados on October 11th.
Edwards’s wife is still in hospital in London expecting twins, while the 32-year-old will appear in court on October 10th to face charges of driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.
After consulting with coach Otto Pfister and his staff and his family, Edwards, who had hoped to play in the Bermuda match, has decided not to travel.
