BT Executive Box Auction for Charitable Trust - Ipswich Town News

BT are donating their executive box for auction to raise funds for the ITFC Charitable Trust’s disability football scheme, Ability Counts. The winning bidder will get the chance to use the box in the Britannia Stand at the Crystal Palace game on Saturday 22nd October.

Ability Counts has provided fun and competitive sporting opportunities to around 7,000 children and adults over the past five years across Suffolk.

The scheme requires support from the business community and funding agencies if it is to continue its comprehensive programme of disability sports beyond May 2012 when the current Football Foundation grant expires.

BT’s donation has enabled the ITFC Charitable Trust to begin the process of securing its future. The Trust requires the support of fans and local businesses to make bids for this unique prize.

The highest bidder will get use of BT’s executive box situated within the Britannia Stand, 12 tickets for the box and accompanying seats situated outside the suite, four car park passes, pre-match buffet, a supply of tea and coffee, air-conditioned and heated facilities from which to enjoy the game, an LCD TV and an enhanced sound system for match highlights and to keep track of other scores elsewhere across the country.

Businesses or individuals interested in should send their bids by email to matthew.try@itfc.co.uk. The ITFC Charitable Trust is looking for an opening bid of £400. Bids are being taken now and up to 5pm on Monday 17th October with full information and tickets sent to the winning bidder after this time.

Daily updates will be sent via email to all of the bidding organisations and individuals informing them of what the highest bid stands at although these e-mails will not reveal the identity of the highest bidder. Updates will be sent every two hours on the final day of bidding for those wishing to send last minute entries.
