Peters Wants to Extend Bournemouth Stay - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Jaime Peters says he would like to extend his loan at AFC Bournemouth beyond its initial month. The 24-year-old has made four appearances since joining the Cherries late last month.
Peters says he would be interested in remaining in Dorset: "Yes, but I will let the club handle it and I will focus on football. At the moment I'm at Bournemouth and we will see what happens.
"I just want to play as many games as possible. I don't know whether I will be here for one, two or three months."
The Canadian international, who is contracted to the Blues until the summer of 2013, is generally pleased with the way the spell in League One is progressing: "It's gone OK but it could have gone better if we'd won a few more games, but I'm happy.
"I'm back playing again and enjoying it. I didn't get much playing time at Ipswich and had to keep myself fit. I'm playing week-in, week-out which is what I want."
Manager Lee Bradbury added: "He's done well with us and fitted in with the rest of the lads. He's a quick lad who causes full-backs problems.
"We are trying to see if we can extend his loan at the moment."
