Agent Refutes Claim - Ipswich Town News
Tomorrow sees the draw for the next round of the Hermann Hreidarsson's agent Olafur Gardarsson has refuted Icelandic reports that he has said Town have expressed interest in Eidur Gudjohnsen. Speaking to TWTD the agent said, that despite widespread reports to the contrary, he does not represent Chelsea's Icelandic striker.
Gardarsson told TWTD: "I know Eidur but he is not my player."
He also confirmed that Hermann Hreidarsson is unlikely to move, despite recent interest from other clubs: "Hermann is happy at Ipswich."
The visit of one of Gardarsson's other players Eggert Steffenson, the young central defender coming to Town on trial, has been postponed. Gardarsson told us: "He is slightly injured and will come in a couple of weeks. He has a hamstring injury, but it is nothing serious. He'll just have to rest. He is a very promising player."
