Leddy Starts for Ireland - Ipswich Town News
Academy first-year scholar Jonny Leddy has been named in the Republic of Ireland U17 side for their second European Championship mini-group game against hosts Kazakhstan in Almaty this afternoon. The midfielder netted a penalty in his team’s 8-0 victory over Liechtenstein in their opening match on Wednesday.
If Ireland win this afternoon’s game they will be through to the next stage of the qualification process. Leddy will be winning his fourth cap at U17 level.
