Stockdale Hopes Fans Will Support Chopra - Ipswich Town News
Keeper David Stockdale has called on fans of Town and football in general to give striker Michael Chopra their support in his battle to overcome his gambling problems. Chopra is back training at Portman Road with the rest of the Blues squad after three weeks in the Sporting Chance Clinic in Hampshire.
Stockdale tweeted: "Hope the Ipswich fans and all fans can support a player with an illness and help the guy. Proud of him for standing up and getting help!”
Boss Paul Jewell has confirmed that Chopra will definitely be playing for his side at Millwall on Saturday.
