Sonko Out of Doncaster Clash - Ipswich Town News
Defender Ibrahima Sonko has been ruled out of Saturday’s home game against Doncaster Rovers with the hamstring injury which forced him off during the weekend defeat at Millwall. The Blues also have doubts over Lee Bowyer (hamstring), Damien Delaney (foot), Keith Andrews (groin) and Nathan Ellington (calf).
Boss Paul Jewell confirmed that the Senegalese international is definitely out of the Rovers clash: "Sonko won't be fit for the weekend.
"He has got a grade two hamstring tear and he's been for a scan. Lee Bowyer is also having a scan, while Keith Andrews has got a tight groin, so we are carrying a few injuries.
"Nathan Ellington pulled his calf in the half-time warm-up at Millwall as well. There was no way Duke could have gone on as a sub on Saturday."
