Stockdale Named in England Squad - Ipswich Town News

Keeper David Stockdale has been named in the England squad for next week’s friendlies against Spain and Sweden. The on-loan Fulham man is yet to win a full cap but is a regular in Fabio Capello’s squads.

Spain are at Wembley next Saturday, while England take on Sweden, also at home, on the following Tuesday.

Ex-Blue Darren Bent is also included in the squad.

Deji Elerewe gave the home side the lead just before half-time, however, sub Ben Johnson levelled for the Blues eight minutes after the restart but unconvincing Town were unable to find a winner and the League Two side claimed their first ever win in the competition on penalties.
