Carson Wins Cap in Defeat - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Josh Carson won his sixth Northern Ireland U21 cap as his side lost 2-0 to Serbia in a European Championship qualifier in Coleraine this afternoon.
The 18-year-old played the full 90 minutes, hitting the bar with the game at 0-0 and picking up a booking for a foul just after half-time, with the Serbs scoring twice in the last 10 minutes.
Ex-Blues striker Caolan Lavery, who has been on trial at Leicester City, came on as a 79th minute substitute.
A number of other Town players are in international action this evening.
