Town Trial for Young Striker - Ipswich Town News
Town are reported to have taken Kirkley & Pakefield striker Ryan Crisp on trial. The 18-year-old scored four goals for the Ridgeons League Premier Division side in a 5-2 victory over Hadleigh United on Saturday.
Crisp, who could be involved with the Blues’ U18s in the weeks to come, spent time with Norwich City while at school before breaking into the Royals’ first team as a 16-year-old.
His current manager Paul Tong is a big fan: "The lad has everything - ability, pace and strength.
"He has been outstanding for me and he was on fire on Saturday.”
The youngster has scored 11 goals in 13 league starts and one sub appearance this season, including a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over Wivenhoe Town in September.
