Orient Yet to Receive Porter Enquiry - Ipswich Town News
Leyton Orient chief executive Matthew Porter says his club are yet to receive any enquiries regarding winger George Porter. Town are amongst a number of clubs understood to be eyeing the 19-year-old.
But the O’s chief says he’s yet to be contacted regarding the former Cray Wanderers man: "We have not had an enquiry from anyone about George.”
Nottingham Forest, Charlton and Southend are some of the other clubs believed to be interested in Porter.
Meanwhile, Blues boss Paul Jewell has spent the last couple of weeks reviewing this season’s matches so far, concluding: "Not everything is right, but there is not as much wrong as everyone thinks.
"We have got some good players and have played some terrific football. Against West Ham, Middlesbrough, Cardiff and Brighton we had a shape that seemed to suit us perfectly.
"But when I watch all the DVDs, the concentration levels and giving silly goals away sticks out to me. I can see signs of some real progress at times, but I also see some real backward steps.”
