Stockdale Sad to Leave Town - Ipswich Town News
David Stockdale says he's sad to be leaving Town early to return to parent club Fulham.
The 26-year-old tweeted: "Sad to be leaving such a great club with great people and some of the best fans in the country! But happy to be back at Fulham. Come on boys!"
Stockdale, who is not expected to feature in this evening's Europa League game against Odense, had been due to spend the season with the Blues but the Cottagers triggered their 24-hour recall after Mark Schwarzer suffered a neck injury.
Soon after the recall was confirmed, Stockdale's wife Katie announced that she is pregnant with the couple's third child.
