Wark and Beattie in TV Action - Ipswich Town News
Anglia TV's Soccer Sunday programme this weekend (Sunday 5pm) catches up with Town legends Kevin Beattie and John Wark who are still putting on
the style in the Ipswich and Area Licensed Trade League Division Three.
The former internationals were in action for Sophtlogic FC in a top of the table clash with Unicorn at the Rushmere Sports and Social Club last Sunday.
An Anglia cameraman was there to record the action as Beattie, now 47, and Wark, 44, helped Sophtlogic to a thumping 6-1 win over their previously unbeaten rivals. The old magic is very much in evidence, although TWTD columnist John did limp off with a hamstring injury just before half-time.
In addition to the Ipswich Licensed Trades League action there is also a few clips of some of Nationwide League sides messing about in the mud from the day before.
