Scotland Misses Reading Trip - Ipswich Town News
Striker Jason Scotland will miss this afternoon’s game at Reading due to the hamstring injury he suffered at Leicester on Monday. The Trinidadian’s fitness was due to be assessed on Friday afternoon before the squad left for Berkshire.
Boss Paul Jewell will have to decide whether to partner Michael Chopra with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, who has impressed him in training of late, or Nathan Ellington.
We understand Scotland has not yet been ruled out of Monday's home game with Nottingham Forest.
Skipper Grant Leadbitter looks likely to return to Jewell’s side in place of the injured Keith Andrews with the Blues probably otherwise unchanged.
