Swindon Want to Keep Murray - Ipswich Town News
Swindon Town are keen to extend Ronan Murray’s loan until the end of the season when the Irishman’s current spell is up on January 14th. The 20-year-old has scored two goals in three starts and five sub appearances since joining the Robins in November.
Chairman Jeremy Wray says manager Paolo Di Canio is a big fan of the Town youngster, who is contracted until the end of the season: "Paolo has been very impressed with him.
"It's no secret he would like to extend it until the end of the season. If Ipswich let us do it, we'd love to and we'll see what happens after that."
Murray says he'd like to extend his time at the County Ground: "I’d like to stay. I am playing first team football and the last month and a half has been brilliant - playing games every week.
"I have enjoyed every minute and it is a brilliant club. There are not many more clubs in the country you would want to be at with all the headlines Swindon are getting."
