Scotland a Doubt for Leeds - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Paul Jewell says the Blues will have a greater idea of the extent of striker Jason Scotland’s hamstring injury tomorrow with the Trinidadian likely to be a doubt for next weekend's game at Leeds. Scotland limped off in the second half of Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Blackpool with the injury which is a different problem to the one which saw him miss games earlier in the month.
Jewell told the club site that this is the other hamstring: "It's not a recurrence of that injury, it's the other leg.
"With hamstrings, you need a good 48 hours before you can really assess the extent of the injury. We will have a look at Jason tomorrow and take it from there.
"You have to be careful with hamstring problems though, so obviously he has to be a concern for us ahead of the Leeds game at the weekend."
