TWTD understands that Falkirk central defender Murray Wallace will be at Portman Road for talks today, the Blues having agreed a fee of £300,000 plus add-ons for the 19-year-old last week. Chief scout Steve McCall and assistant manager Chris Hutchings were at Hampden Park yesterday to watch Wallace and the Bairns lose 3-1 in a Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final.
We understand that Murray flew south with the Town pair after the game and is holding talks regarding his proposed move at the club today.
The former Rangers trainee spoke with Brighton last week, the Seagulls and Huddersfield Town also having agreed terms with Falkirk which will see Wallace return to the Scottish League Division One side on loan for the remainder of the season whoever he chooses to join for the longer term.
