Charitable Trust Running Holiday Coaching Courses - Ipswich Town News

Town’s Charitable Trust will once again be running their Holiday Soccer Camps during half-term. The courses give children the chance to develop their football skills and make new friends overseen by the Trust’s professional and experienced coaching staff.

They are suitable for children of all abilities aged 4 — 12 and take place at various indoor and outdoor venues throughout Suffolk, including Ipswich, Felixstowe, Saxmundham, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Framlingham, Elmswell, Mildenhall and Woodbridge.

The Trust offers a wide range of courses which help the development of each child’s footballing technique, including key skills such as passing, control, tackling and shooting.

Specialist courses, such as goalkeeping training camps, offer a unique opportunity to focus on key techniques such as quick feet and ball distribution, making sure aspiring keepers get a firm grip on how to play their position.

The ITFC Charitable Trust is also very passionate about girls’ football development and therefore a girls-only training camp is offered every school holiday. This is open to girls of all abilities aged between 5 and 12 years.

The Trust is proud of is its award-winning Ability Counts programme, which offers football activities across Suffolk for children, young people and adults who have learning difficulties, physical disabilities and mental health issues.

Also under the Ability Counts banner is a 10am-1pm specialist children’s course which offers those aged from 5 — 12 years football coaching tailored to meet each individual’s specific needs.

The ITFC Charitable Trust also offers the popular Crazee’s Club, a course designed specifically for younger children aged 4 — 6 years.

The ITFC Holiday Soccer Camps will be running from 13th-17th February. Two-day football courses can be booked for £22 with one-day specialist courses at £13 and Crazee’s Club £8.
