Pearce Misses Portsmouth Training - Ipswich Town News
Town target Jason Pearce is one of four Portsmouth players reported to be missing from Pompey training this morning.
The Blues’ other targets, keeper Stephen Henderson and midfielder or defender Joel Ward, are understood to be with the rest of the squad.
Sources on the south coast are reporting that Pearce, defender Tal Ben Haim, keeper Jamie Ashdown and winger Ryan Williams are all absent from this morning's session.
Australian youngster Williams is understood to be closing in on a £500,000 switch to Fulham.
Young defender Adam Webster and former Spurs centre-half Ricardo Rocha are also now reported not to have been spotted on the training field.
