Town's West Ham Win Performance of the Week - Ipswich Town News

Town’s 5-1 victory over West Ham has picked up the League Managers Association's F&C Thames River Performance of the Week award. A five-man panel made up of LMA chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, former Blues boss Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry made the decision.

Town manager Paul Jewell will be given an engraved crystal football in a presentation which will be screened on Sky Soccer Saturday this weekend.

Earlier in the season, Town’s extraordinary comeback to win 5-3 at Barnsley also won the LMA’s gong.
