Town are being linked with 22-year-old Bournemouth winger Wade Elliott. Elliott is reported to be a player being tracked by several top sides.
Elliott, previously with non-League Bashley, scored two penalties on Saturday as the Cherries beat Notts County 4-2 at Dean Court. He scored eight goals in the last 12 matches last season and was Bournemouth's Player of the Year.
Overall he has made 54 appearances for Bournemouth (plus 17 as sub) and has scored 20 goals.
He is described as fearless and loves running at defenders.
