Carlos Edwards skippers Town for the first time as Paul Jewell names the expected side for tonight’s game at Portsmouth. Damien Delaney replacing the injured Ibrahima Sonko is the only change from the team which started the victories over West Ham and Coventry and the abandoned game against Middlesbrough at the weekend.
Jack Ainsley comes on to a bench which is otherwise unchanged. Josh Carson and Ryan Stevenson travelled but aren’t involved.
Portsmouth are unchanged from the side which drew 1-1 at Blackpool at the weekend with all three January Town targets starting. Full match preview here.
