Burley's Italy Trip - Ipswich Town News
TWTD has been told that Italy was once again George Burley's destination when he travelled to Europe last week. In pre-season the Town boss went to Italy to secure the signing of Matteo Sereni and it seems he is again looking in that direction.
The Town boss watched Sereni's old side Sampdoria on Thursday as they drew 2-2 at Torino in the Coppa Italia. We don't know who his target was, but whoever it was Burley didn't seem overly impressed. Upon his return he merely said: "There's nothing to report."
