Today's main ITFC news is that David Johnson is likely to be fit for the Cup match with Southampton on Saturday. Johnson limped off after 52 minutes on Tuesday with a dead leg, the second time this season he has had an injury of this type. Physio David Williams said "I think we are looking at days rather than weeks this time for him to be right again." Hurrah!
Even more exciting new comes from Norwich where it seems Darren Eadie is leaving. Apparently Leicester want to pay £3 million for the injury wracked player. Delia Smith appears, however, completely oblivious to the situation judging by a few of her answers during a webcast this afternoon with beeb.com:
Beeb presents a question from Steve in Holland :
"Did you ever cook something which didn't turn out the way it normally does and then realise it was because you sold the most important ingredient to Leicester?"
Delia Smith says, "I never sold any ingredients to Leicester."
The TV cook later answered a question which enquired directly whether the Eadie/Leicester story was true saying she knew nothing of it.

Town reserves won the annual fixture against Cambridge University yesterday running out 7-3 winners. Main star on the day was Sean Friars who scored four. The other goals were added by Stuart Logan, the younger brother of Richard Logan, and two penalties from Neil Midgley.
David Sheepshanks has suggested that the Football League might like to have some regulation on pitches. This follows Town's match on a park-style pitch against Palace. The Sheepster said "The erratic and wholly unpredictable bounce of the pitch was plain for all to see. Pitches are apparently given ratings as part of the match assessment procedure. However, as in cricket, I think there should be scope so that stricter standards can be applied to protect both the skill of the players and the spectacle that customers pay to see."
Richard Naylor has resumed training despite his knee problems which may cause hiom to require an operation at the end of the season. He is expected to be on the bench on Monday.
