Chopra Set to Be Fine Despite Knock - Ipswich Town News

Striker Michael Chopra is expected to overcome a minor ankle problem in time for Saturday’s trip to Hull City. The Blues' 13-goal top scorer picked up the problem during Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Southampton.

Assistant manager Chris Hutchings, who gave this afternoon’s pre-match press conference, said: "We’ve just got Chopra, who is having a little bit of treatment, but he’ll be fit, that isn’t going to be a problem.

"He got a kick on the ankle but he’ll be OK. Apart from that, everybody’s fit and raring to go.”

He says confidence is high: "We’re looking forward to it. We’ve been in very, very good form of late, only one defeat in seven games.

"We’re coming off the back of a good draw down at Southampton, who are riding high at the top of the league. We’re going there full of confidence and looking forward to it.”

Midfielder Jimmy Bullard remains suspended by the club until Friday of next week.
