Bramble to Start - Ipswich Town News

Titus Bramble looks certain to be involved in tonight's UEFA Cup second leg game with Helsingborgs IF. The defender says he is raring to go after missing a number of games with an ankle problem.

Bramble said: "I really want to play. I'm feeling really good. The ankle is fine. I played for half a game against Cambridge on Monday and feel good. This is a massive game for us and I would love to be involved."

His manager George Burley also seems keen for the Ipswich-born player to return: "Titus has certainly been missed in the month that he has been out, but he came through a game on Monday after 45 minutes with no problems.

"He has trained this week and looked fine, which is encouraging. Titus has been training with fitness coach Simon Thadani so he has no problems with his fitness but he needs games. We have missed Titus's strength and pace. He is a colossus for us and he showed last season what a key member of the team he is."
