U18s Lose at Coventry - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s fell to a 4-1 defeat at Coventry on Saturday morning. Jonson Clarke-Harris, Will Roberts, Aaron Phillips and Courtney Richards scored for the home side with the Blues’ strike an own goal.
The scoreline flattered the Sky Blues with Town hitting the bar twice and with the Coventry keeper making a number of good saves.
The young Blues currently sit bottom of their FA Premier Academy League Group and are without a win since November.
Meanwhile, Town’s Irish U17 international keeper Conor O’Donnell spent time on trial at Brighton last week having been told he will not be offered a new contract by the Blues.
