French Bid for Town? - Ipswich Town News

Reports this afternoon claim that Town have made a bid for 24-year-old Lens midfielder Daniel Moreira. Moreira is a former French U21 international who has scored five goals in his last three games.

However, it seems that Lens will be unwilling to sell the player.

The Blues are after a player to replace the injured Finidi George. Yesterday Italian sources claimed Gaetano Vasari from Sampdoria was George Burley's target.
