Player of the Year Voting Open - Ipswich Town News

Online voting is now open for this season’s Supporters Club Player of the Year award. The winner will be named at the Player Awards Evening which takes place on Saturday 21st April at the Cameo Hotel (previously Hotel Elizabeth) in London Road, Copdock (doors open 6.30pm).

There are three ways of voting for your Town Player of the Year:

1. Text message - Send a text message to 60070, beginning your message "ITFC" and then - after a space - the name of the player you are voting for, for example, "ITFC Kuqi". Texts cost your standard network rate for SMS. Please get permission from the person who pays the bill.

2. Online - Go to www.itfcsupporters.co.uk and cast your vote as in previous years.

3. At the ground — The Supporters Club will be collecting votes around the ground before the final home game of the season against Millwall.

The Supporters Club are looking for volunteers to help collect votes at that match. If anyone is able to help they should contact Elizabeth Edwards at itsc78@btinternet.com or on 07968 876504.

Last year’s Player of the Year was Jimmy Bullard with Gareth McAuley in second and Connor Wickham in third.

The first team squad and coaching staff will be at the Player Awards Evening where in addition to the Player of the Year trophy being handed over to the winner a host of other awards and debutants' tankards will also be handed over.

Tickets cost £20 and are available from Irene Davey, 10 Lambeth Close, Ipswich, IP1 4DX (please enclose a cheque payable to Ipswich Town Football Club Supporters Account and a SAE) or via Elizabeth Edwards at the contacts above.
