Encouraging Signs - Burley - Ipswich Town News
Town's reserves meet Leicester's reserves this evening (KO 7.30) in the East Midlands. Despite seeing his side third from bottom George Burley does not see his side as relegation fodder come May. There is still a lot of the season to go and the Town boss says there are encouraging signs that his side are on the upturn.
Burley said: "We are third from bottom, we don't want to be there but the reality isthat we are. But it is still only November and there is a long way to go, nothing has been won or lost yet. There are a lot of encouraging signs within the team and the performance in the secondhalf against Chelsea was excellent. I'm confident that if we keep the same spirit, the same quality and belief, that we won't have any fears of relegation come the end of the season."
