Wednesday Targeting Bennett - Ipswich Town News
Sheffield Wednesday are amongst the League One clubs to have approached Town youngster Callum Bennett, TWTD understands.
Second-year scholar Bennett has turned down a one-year contract with the Blues with manager Paul Jewell revealing that the former Kesgrave High School pupil was interesting a number of clubs in League One.
Colchester United aren’t one of them, however, with boss John Ward insisting that his club hasn’t made a move for the right-back or midfielder: "We haven’t approached anyone about Callum Bennett.”
