Cresswell Junior Blues Player of Year - Ipswich Town News

Left-back Aaron Cresswell has added the Junior Blues Player of the Year award to the Supporters Club gong he picked up on Saturday evening. Junior Blues membership can now be renewed for the 2012/13 season.

Along with the chance to be a Town mascot, Junior Blues receive a membership gift, ITFC stickers, a card from the players on their birthday, a regular e-newsletter and a voucher so that they can attend any home league match of their choice for free.

Standard membership prices for 2012/13 are £5 for season ticket holders and £15 for non-season ticket holders (aged 5 to 15).

Town have also introduced Junior Blues Plus for 2012/13 with all the same benefits as a standard membership, plus the brand new home shirt and vouchers for two free home league games at Portman Road and Planet Blues vouchers.

Junior Blues Plus costs £35 for 2012/13 season ticket holders and £45 for non-season ticket holders (aged 5 to 15).

Even younger supporters can join Town Toddler, for newborn fans to those aged four. Membership comes with an official certificate and gift plus a card from the players on their birthday. Town Toddler costs £5.

This season’s membership is valid until 31st July but renewals can now be made at the Ticket Office on 0844 80 11 555. To renew or to find out more online visit the club site.

Town moved level on points with second-placed Leeds United following a pulsating 3-3 draw with Hull City at the MKM Stadium having been in front three times. Returning striker George Hirst put the Blues in front in the 19th minute but the Tigers levelled on 40 through Ozan Tufan before Omari Hutchinson put Town back ahead with the first of two brilliant goals. However, Hull equalised again through Liam Delap in the 56th minute, then Hutchinson’s second put the Blues ahead again, however, Tigers sub Noah Ohio grabbed a point for the East Yorkshire side with three minutes remaining and the Blues were unable to take late chances to win it.
