U17s Win at Colchester - Ipswich Town News
Mark Timlin (pictured) netted twice and Tom Winter and Jack Willbye once each as a Town U17 side beat Colchester United 4-0 in a friendly at the Weston Homes Community Stadium this morning.
Former Blues first-year scholar Jack Simmons was in action for the U's having joined them recently.
The match was the youngsters' final clash of the campaign with their FA Premier Academy League season having ended with a 3-0 home victory over Chelsea last week.
