Youths to Play Bristol City - Ipswich Town News
Town's almost all-conquering youth side will play Bristol City in the third round of the FA Youth Cup. The Robins overcame Potters Bar yesterday 3-0 to set-up the tie with the Blues. The game will be played between November 22nd and December 1st at Portman Road.
Last season the youths, an U18 side made up from the best of the U17 and U19 Academy sides, reached the semi-finals losing to eventual winners Arsenal in a closely fought two-legged tie.
With much of last season's team coming from the then U17 team many of those involved last year are eligible again, including Darren Bent.
