New Club Launches With Evening With The Beat - Ipswich Town News

A new unofficial Town supporters club, named Spirit of 78, is launched this Sunday with an Evening with Kevin Beattie at Bar Sport in Great Colman Street (7pm). Blues legend Beattie will also take part in a question and answer session.

Spirit of 78 membership forms can be obtained from Bar Sport at the launch, which will also feature a raffle and auction, or by emailing itfc@fsmail.net. Further details about the club are available from the same email address, while the instigators will be on Saturday lunchtime’s Life’s a Pitch on Radio Suffolk.

The club has other future events lined up with a Sir Bobby Robson Evening on July 31st, while Spirit of 78 say Mauricio Taricco and Ray Crawford have also agreed to help out and support the club, as has darts star and Blues supporter Kevin ‘The Artist’ Painter.

There will be a ‘1000 club’ where you can win big money, plus membership to Spirit of 78 will also enable you to discount on food and drinks on a matchday and at all their events.
