Town Again Watch Icelander - Ipswich Town News
Town were one of a number of English clubs represented at Lillestrøm’s 0-0 draw with Aalesund this evening to keep tabs on 21-year-old Icelandic striker Björn Bergmann Sigurdarson. The Blues, Everton, Sunderland, Reading and Fulham all sent scouts, while incoming new Wolves manager StÃ¥le Solbakken was also present.
Norwegian Solbakken played for Lillestrøm during his playing career and the recently-relegated Midlanders would appear to be the favourites for the one-time ÃA Akranes frontman, who has been valued at £3 million to £4 million.
Town also watched the once-capped Icelander on Sunday as he scored his 11th goal of the season.
