Bury St Edmunds Player Development Centre Trials - Ipswich Town News

The ITFC Charitable Trust’s Player Development Centre (PDC) is holding open trials at the King Edward VI Upper School in Bury St Edmunds on Thursday 12th July. If your son is showing the potential to be a Town player of the future, then the PDC is the perfect place for him to display and develop his talent.

The PDC is an invitation-only scheme designed to provide weekly advanced coaching to the best young footballers in Suffolk who are not currently in an academy set-up with coaching taking place at Portman Road and the satellite training centre in Bury St Edmunds, which trains on a Friday evening starting in September. The PDC links into and feeds the academy.

The project’s games programme includes fixtures against the likes of Norwich, Colchester and Cambridge United, while one-off matches against Premier League clubs have also taken place with Chelsea visiting Portman Road at the end of last season.

The Bury trial is for U7s to U10s from 5 - 6pm and U11s and U12s from 6 - 7pm. Places are limited, so if you would like your son to attend and want to register his name, call 0845 1369 333 (option 2) or email amanda.haynes@itfc.co.uk.
