Cresswell Amongst Those Making Early Start - Ipswich Town News
Player of the Year Aaron Cresswell was amongst a number of Town players getting in some early pre-season training at Playford Road earlier today.
Pre-season proper starts next Thursday, July 5th, but various players were in for gym and fitness work as they prepare for the 2012/13 campaign.
Cresswell tweeted: "First day back today. Good little workout with [Jack Ainsley], Sonks and Luke [Hyam]!”
Released defender Ibrahima Sonko is training with the Blues during his search for a new club, while new signing Elliott Hewitt was at Playford Road for the first time today as he continues his rehabilitation after undergoing hip surgery while he was with Macclesfield. The Wales U21 international isn’t expected to feature until October.
