Chambers at Town to Complete Move - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that former Nottingham Forest central defender Luke Chambers is at Town this morning as he looks to complete his Bosman free transfer to the Blues. The 26-year-old was at the club last Tuesday to undergo a medical and to look around the ground and training facilities but with his representative out of the country, returned to the Midlands without signing on the dotted line.
Former Northampton man Chambers is expected to sign a three-year deal at Portman Road, although newspaper claims that he will be doubling his wages to almost £16,000 a week were wide of the mark.
TWTD reported that Chambers would be back at Portman Road today to complete his move on Saturday.
