Britannia Stand Co-opted - Ipswich Town News
Portman Road’s Britannia Stand will be known as the East of England Co-operative Stand from the 2012/13 season after the Blues secured a new sponsorship deal.
Speaking to TWTD in September, chief executive Simon Clegg anticipated developments on stand sponsorship during the months to come: "I expect to be making some progress on stand sponsorship this season.
"There are a couple of people who want to speak to me but we haven’t talked [in detail] yet.”
Building society Britannia, who had sponsored what was initially known as the Pioneer Stand since 1999, will remain involved in the club working at grassroots level.
