Holland Hoping for Compromise - Ipswich Town News
Matt Holland has said he hopes the Premier League and the PFA can reach a compromise over the players' strike as the two parties get ready to meet today.
Holland said: "Hopefully, a compromise can be reached this week and we will not be required to take this any further. If the talks break down then we will have to see what is next and we will have to look at the leagilty of the situation."
Holland says the Irish squad were "delighted" to have scored twice in Saturday's play-off against Iran. The Town skipper also saw the clean sheet as a bonus as they travel to Tehran for Thursday's game in front of an expected crowd of 110,000.
