Zola: Good Opportunity for Loach - Ipswich Town News
Watford manager Gianfranco Zola has confirmed that his club has received an offer for keeper Scott Loach. The Hornets are understood to have accepted a Blues’ bid for the 24-year-old one-time Town academy schoolboy.
Zola said: "It is a possibility. Scott has got this opportunity and so we are considering it.
"We will see. As I said, it is a good opportunity for him. He looks like he is happy and that is an important thing."
Loach has all but confirmed the story on Twitter, responding to congratulations retweets of news stories relating to the switch and also saying: "This could be a dream come true! ‪#likeakidatxmas."
Watford are reported to be targeting either Carlo Cudicini or Manuel Almunia as Loach’s replacement at Vicarage Road.
