Loach Signing Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed the signing of Watford keeper Scott Loach on a three-year deal with the option of a further year. The Blues agreed a fee of £150,000 with the Hornets earlier in the week with the 24-year-old undergoing a Portman Road medical last night.
Loach has made no secret of his desire to play for the club, having played for the academy as a schoolboy before moving on to the Nottingham Forest, Chesterfield and Lincoln City youth set-ups.
Speaking to the Town programme when the Blues played the Hornets last season, the former England U21 international said: "I've always been an Ipswich supporter and it is here where my goalkeeping education started, so I will always be thankful to the club for that."
